COVID-19 CRISIS VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Despite the many challenges presented by COVID-19, Meals on Wheels Orange County is dedicated to delivering meals to the thousands of older adults that rely on us each and every day in the cities we serve:

Please read through the requirements for this opportunity: 

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Meal deliveries are made Monday through Friday between 9 am to 12 pm
  • Must have a valid California driver’s license, driver’s insurance, and reliable vehicle
  • A background check is required and we are asking that, due to increase costs at this time, volunteers cover this $20 fee

Can I deliver Meals on Wheels if I’m under 18 years old?

At this time, anyone between the ages of 6 – 18 years old must be accompanied by a guardian who has had a background check.

I would like to commit to a long-term volunteer opportunity.  How do I do that?
