As the Holiday season is upon us, Meals on Wheels Orange County is excited to be delivering our Holiday Gift Program once more and we’re grateful to share some wonderful news: thanks to your generosity, we have met our goal to provide holiday gifts to homebound older adults in our community.

This year, those gifts take the form of Self-Care Baskets thoughtful packages filled with small comforts that remind at-risk older adults they are seen, valued, and celebrated. For many of the seniors we serve, the holidays can be an especially isolating time. A simple self-care gift chosen and donated with intention becomes more than a basket of items. It becomes a message of connection and community: “You matter, and you’re not alone.”

Every donation has made a meaningful difference. These gifts bring joy, comfort, and dignity, and they reflect the best of our community coming together to care for older adults who often cannot get out to shop or celebrate with loved ones.
